Area Overview
Located about 20 minutes north of Wilmington in Pender County, Hampstead is a small town that has experienced substantial growth in recent years. Running along the Intracoastal, many boating activities are easily enjoyed or a short 20-minute drive to Surf City and Topsail will find you relaxing on the beach. Poplar Grove is just outside Hampstead with beautiful hiking and local activities running throughout the year, including a fantastic farmer’s market. Golfing enthusiast have three wonderful golf courses to enjoy while living in this quaint community feel, where friends and neighbors can easily catch up at the grocery store or running errands around town.
